Demo Script — 15 and 30 minute variants

A LAIRA demo is most effective when the prospect sees a real scan run end-to-end. If the caller has access to an iPhone Pro and the LAIRA app, do it live. If not, use the pre-recorded demo videos at airwai.com/demo (placeholder; ask Airwai for the current demo asset).

15-minute demo (default)

Use for: most prospects, time-constrained calls, second touch after a discovery.

30-minute demo (deeper)

Use for: high-value prospects, AEC firms evaluating Team tier, persona-specific deep dives.

0–3 Opener + recap Confirm their workflow, their tools, their decision criteria.
3–8 Capture deep-dive Start a scan. Walk through capture settings, route planning, offline mode, multi-pass.
8–15 Detection deep-dive All 19 D6433 AC + 19 PCC distresses. PROWAG slope detection. MUTCD marking degradation. Cite the standard for each.
15–20 ArcGIS deep-dive Push to tenant. Show schema. Open in ArcGIS Pro (if customer uses Pro). Show portal config options.
20–24 Output workflow PDF, IFC, CSV. Show how each format lands in their downstream system (PAVER, Cartegraph, Revit).
24–27 Team / collaboration If Team-tier prospect: show shared library, audit log, RBAC, ABM distribution.
27–30 Close + next steps Trial setup live on the call, or scheduling for procurement / pilot.

Demo principles

  1. Show real data, not staged screenshots. Even if it's a parking lot you scanned that morning, real data is more persuasive than a polished slide.
  2. Cite the standard. Every time a distress is flagged, say what standard section it's classified against. This is the differentiator; do not skip it.
  3. Let them drive when they want. If the prospect asks "can I see X," give them the controls. The most persuasive demo is the one where the prospect navigates.
  4. Don't pitch features they don't need. If they're a solo ADA consultant, don't show them Team features. If they're a Team prospect, don't dwell on the Free tier.
  5. Always end with a specific next step. Either a trial activation, a follow-up call on a date, or a clean "this isn't a fit, here's why" close.

Common demo pitfalls

Pitfall Fix
Talking over the prospect during the scan Silence is fine. Let the product carry the moment.
Skipping the standard citation This is the differentiator. Don't skip it.
Going too deep on technical details They didn't ask about LiDAR FOV. Skip it unless they ask.
Ending without a clear next step "I'll send the trial activation link as soon as we hang up. Talk Friday."
Demoing on a device without LiDAR Use a device the prospect's company actually has. iPhone 12 Pro minimum.
